The fires in modern industry and mining are mostly caused by explosion of flammable gases. Security operators are focus on how to make blasting scope and breakage limit to the least effectively. Simulation of the process of gas explosion is very insignificant in understanding theories of gas explosion correctly, in preventing and reducing calamity caused by gas explosion, and in adopting correct project of explosion prevention and decompression.In this text, blasting model of gas clouds is established through restriction and blocking action during the transmitting process of gas explosion. Processes using the software of Autoreagas are simulated as follows: the aspects of in-unit and with binding mechanism between units and reciprocity of blasting shock wave and barriers. Transmitting process portrayed by CFD simulation and FCT arithmetic accord with physical phenomenon. The Autoreagas software is used for researching on rule of transmitting process of gas explosion. CFD simulation is used for simulating the blasting shock wave in different districts, then, the characters of shock wave are analyzed and confirmed. Thus, it can afford gist to the fact. This text is researched on transmitting process of gas explosion by CFD numerical simulation, Combining TNO means of much energy and CFD, the application of gas explosion in actual project is simulated. And rationality between CFD numerical simulation and academic analysis is gained validation.Methane is used as an example to simulate the process of gas explosion in this text. The conclusions are about the transmitting rule of blasting shock wave of gas explosion, the reciprocity relationship between shock wave and barriers, and the influence to explosive overpressure caused by barriers. Through the combine of analysis method of fatalness in gas explosion, a well approach and idea is offered for estimate of intension of gas explosion. Basics and guidance are afford for analyzing problems in industrial calamity by CFD simulation.
