By means of metallographic observation, x-ray diffraction and mechanical property test , influence of extrusion process and heat treatment process on performance of ZK60 magnesium alloy extruded products was analyzed.the main content and results of this research as follows:1. The study result of microstructures and mechanical properties of ZK60 extruded magnesium alloy shows:under the condition of T = 380℃and extrusion ratioλ= 15,30,45,60,75, the mechanical properties of ZK60 extruded with the increase of extrusion ratio has a little chance.2. The study result of microstructures and mechanical properties of ZK60 after T6 heat treatment shows:after T6 heat treatment,the performance changes after a certain degree of regularity, that is, with the extrusion ratio increasing, the tensile strength and elongation increases. This dues to get fine-grained for increased extrusion ratio and better performance after heat treatment.3. The mechanical properties of ZK60 extruded is superior to mechanical properties of ZK60 after T6 heat treatment.At relatively low temperature(T = 380℃), the fine-grained and sub-structure after extrusion will be retained,however, after T6 , both grain sizes and the second phase sizes increase in the solution process,Thus the mechanical properties of ZK60 extruded is superior to mechanical properties of ZK60 after T6 heat treatment .4. After extrusion forming ,effect of different heat treatments on microstructures and mechanical properties of the magnesium alloy is very significant.The results show that: under the condition ofλ= 45 and T = 380℃, 420℃, 460℃,after T5 heat treatment,its strength is all more higher than strength after T6 heat treatment, precipitation phase has a uniformly and refined distribution in the state of T5. After T6 heat treatment ,both grain sizes and the second phase sizes increase in the solution process,therefore,instead of strengthening effect as T5 state.
