At present,the problem of eutrophication in china has become more and more serious,especially last summer,blue algae crisis which happened in three lakes including Taihu lake has attracted high attention from people from all country.The main reason of algae crisis is high content of nitrogen and phosphorus.In this experiment,flexible carrier and anoxic sludge was used to design the modified ABR reactor by the advantage of membrane reactor and A/O biological technology.In this paper,the start-up of MABR was studied.The film formation and sludge cultivation were carried out by quickly discharging the sludge and constant substrate concentration.The start-up was finished in 30days. After successful start-up,when avarage influent CODcr concentration was 391mg/L,the avarage efflent CODcr concentration was 82mg/L,avarage CODcr removal rate was 78% and NH4+-N removal rate was 77%.The start-up with constant influent concentration and hydraulic retention time was proved to be feasible.The influence of HRT,DO and recirculation ratio on the removal performace of CODcr and NH4+-N was studied through changing the running parameters of the reactor.Through the pilot experiment,under the HRT of 12h,when DO was enough,recirculation ratio was300%,CODcr/TN was 9,the removal rate of CODcr,NH4+-N and TNcould reach 87.52%,94.27% and63.12% respectively.The removal of NH4+-N and CODcr was sound in this experiment.The removal of all the pollutants were analyzed in details in order to provide the useful reference for the further application of the process.
