The PDMS was synthesized through anionic living ring-opening polymerization of hexamethycyclothysiloxane and dimethysiloxane respectively. The influence of DMF/Li~+ (mole ratio), reaction time, reaction temperature on the yield was discussed and appropriate condition was confirmed. Furthermore, Solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber (SSBR) was synthesized to afford macro living chain, then the hexamethycyclothyyrisiloxane and dimethysiloxane was subsequently copolymerized with solution-polymerized styrene-butadiene rubber micromonomer to synthesize the S-SBR-PDMS respectively. Various factors related to the monomer conversion, such as DMF/Li~+ (mole ratio), reaction time, reaction temperature, end group of the living copolymer were investigated. All new compounds have been characterized by IR, NMR and DSC.
