| With the progress of modernization of Chinese traditional medicine, the distillation, structure-modified of the avtive components of Chinese traditional medicine is becoming an indispensable part. It is an important way to find new medical components and to develop new drugs by modifying the structure of natural product. Baicalein is one of the effective ingredients of Chinese herbs Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi, it can antibiosis, antiviral, anticancer and other pharmacological actions. The research of my disquisition is related to preparation of high-purity baicalein and chemical modification of baicalein. Three metal complexes and a strong water-solubility sulfonate were synthesized. It has an actual meaning to the progress research for baicalein and the development of new medicine.High-purity baicalein was prepared from Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi. In the process of preparation, baicalin was gotten from Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi by alkali-solution and acid-isolation, and then high-purity baicalein was obtained by hydrolysis of baicalin and column chromatography purification, the purity of the baicalein was 99.35 %. The synthesis and characterization of baicalein with Fe (II), Co (II) and Ni (II) are reported in this paper. An orthogonal test was used to optimize the conditions of the synthesis of Baicalein and Fe (II), Co (II) and Ni (II). The composition and structure of Baicalein metal complexes were characterized by elementary analysis,TG-DTA,IR,UV-Vis and AAS spectroscopies.Baicalein-3', 7-sulfonate Sodium, the water-solubility derivatives of baicalein were synthesized. The scavenging effects of baicalein sulfonate, baicalein and baicalin on hydroxyl radical were evaluated. All the results obtained were satisfactory. |
