Hyperbranched polymers are a special kind of polymers with highly branched structure.The particularity of structure and property attracted researchers' attention which promoted the development of hyperbranched polymers.Hyperbranched polyester is a well known compound in hyperbranched polymer family.In 1995,the synthesis of alphatic hyperbranched polyester was reported for the first time.A mass of research was done according to this method.There are a number of reports about modifying this kind of hyperbranched polyester.In this thesis,hyperbranched polyester was used as a matrix to synthesize a kind of functional additive which can improve the damping properties of some kinds of rubbers.In this thesis,a kind of small molecular hindered phenols was used to modify hyperbranched polyester(HBPE).Some characterization such as FT-IR,NMR,GPC was adopted to identify the structure.HBPE was blended with some kinds of rubbers,such as nitrile rubber and acrylic rubber.After sulfuration,DMA test was used to detect the change of Tan Delta.The result shows hyperbranched hindered phonel can improve damping property of these rubbers effectively.Compared with those motheds reported former,this process has two advantages.First,this way can improve damping property of rubbers markedly;second,compared with small molecular hindered phenol,hyperbranched hindered phenol won't move out of material.The main research works are as follows:(1)3-(3-methyl-5-tert-buty-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid and 3-(3,5-ditert-buty-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionic acid were used to endcapped hyperbranched polyester.Some characterization such as FT-IR,NMR,GPC was adopted to identify the structure;(2)The new synthesized compound were blended with nitrile rubber and acrylic rubber.DMA test was adopted in this apart;(3)Some methods which can expand the temperature range of damping rubbers were explored.The results showed that the way of Layer by Layer is more effectual than blending.
