Experiments on simultaneous removal of SO2 and NOX from simulated flue gas are carried out in bench-scale bubbling reactor in this paper. The factors influencing the NO reduction were analyzed, including the concentration of NO-inlet as well as nitric acid,O2 and temperature,KMnO4 content and so on. Results show that NO reduction rose when temperature was going down or concentration of NO-inlet and nitric acid were up, and it had no effection through changing O2 content. Then, the influence were researched about simultaneous NO and SO2 reduction as follows:the interaction of SO2 and NO as well as the function of KMnO4. Results show that SO2 reduction efficiency is 100% but NO reduction efficiency was going down with SO2 existence; KMnO4 could promote the NO reduction, and the effect of alkaline was counteracting with acid vapor and absorb residual NO2. Moreover, the mechanism of desulphurization and denitrification by aqueous nitric acid and in bubbling reactor is discussed.
