Synthetic Pyrethroids pesticides have played an inportant role in protecting agricultural crops from pests. The pesticides are degraded by chemical and microbiological process ,as well as hydrolysis and photocatalytic degradation and so on. However, it caused serious environmental pollution problems.Sodium percarbonate is a solid compound with exceptional storage stability and no shock sensitivity, which is also environmentally friendly. It is cheap, non-toxic and readily available, being produced mainly as solid ingredient of domestic washing formulation acting as a source of H2O2 in solution for stain bleaching. However, few studies were available for the degradation of pesticides using SPC.The paper has studied the various factors influencing the degradation process such as the dosage of sodium percarbonate, temperature,pH value by high performance liquid chromatography as well as the hydrolysis under 25℃and different pH. The result showed that: the degradation efficiency is higher under more dosage of the SPC, higher temperature, as well as acidic and alkalescent condition. The degradation kinetics is a first-order reaction. Some degradation of the pesticide are low-poisonous and some are opposite. The paper has studied the degradation and the degradation mechanism by NMR in order to found a feasible way and the academic gist to degrade the pesticide.
