The social progress causes the energy crisis and more and more serious envir- onmental pollution.Biodiesel as a substitute for diesel oil can reduce the dependence of petrochemical fue1.Since it is a kind of regenerated resource and has no environm- ental pollution,it has been drawn many people's attention. Soybean oil deodorizer dis- tillate(SODD) is the outgrowth of oil purified, it is very worthiness because of vitamin e(VE) and sterol but not use good in past,and now it is changed along with the advancement of technology,but the yield of biodiesel is low.In this study ,we ameliorated the technics for biodiesel,VE and sterol from SODD. We transformed glyceride to fatty acid before esterify by saponification ,we first transformed glyceride and the fatty acid inhere SODD to fatty acid salt and then they revivificationd to fatty acid corresponding by acidic condition .Second the transformed fatty acid was esterified with methanol catalyzed by activator.After that,we can gained sterol by cole for crystal,which can be refined again.And the filtrate were the admixture of biodiesel and VE.In order to breakaway biodiesel from VE,we tried two methods of the vacuum distillation and molecular distillation,and wished to find the best conditions for industry.We determined some property of biodiesel and studied the cold flow properties.At last ,we analyzed the economical and technique indices of the technics which was exampled by a factory can deal with 2000t SODD in a year.The experiment results indicated that most glyceride from SODD can be transformed to fatty acid by saponification with the suitable time and dosage of alkali,and the saponification rate(88%) and yield of VE(95%) was satisfaction.,so was the yield of biodiesel(65%). Molecular distillation was the better method to separate biodiesel and VE.The biodiesel gained from experiment was eligibility and it can fill in 0# diesel oil.Complex and mixed with good cold flow properties diesel were the good way for improve the cold flow properties of biodiesel.For last ,we knew the technics was viable and profit.
