This research was done from three aspects by using the FEA methods. First mainly simulates the status of the fluid flowing in the tube, it is the process of turbulent current . Secondly, defines the non-linear characteristic on material and the geometry, and analyzes the strength and the stability. Third the experimental research validates the corrosion resistance of different material of the nodal tubes. So the general idea of the nodal tubes is got after these analysis, and the solid foundation for the nodal tubes heat exchanger is built. The following creative work has been completed:Summarize the formula for the heat area of the specific shape tubes. And put forward the method using the FEA to analyze the specific fluid flowing the tube. And gets the results on the velocity and the pressure and from the POST1,and choose several section to draw the velocity curve and get the trend of the velocity.By analyzing the non-linear property on material and the geometry, and take the Shell elements, calculates the model under different conditions includes the pressure, displacements and compound load. In order to improve the efficiency of the calculation, by means of ANSYS Parametric Design Language(APDL) to attach the goal to build, calculate and analyze the model soon. Concludes the formula of the single wave rigidity. And sum up the method on how to analyze the stability of the nodal tubes under the internal pressure—displacement and the external pressure, includes the characteristic and non-linear stability analysis, and gets the bucking load of the relevant example, in order to provide the theory basis for the heat exchanger.Considering the reason for the erosion of the non-rust steel, the experiment validates the corrosion resistance of different material of the nodal tubes. This can helps choosing the proper material for the tubes.
