The Design Of 100000m~3 Oil Tank

The article summarized the design of 100000 m3 oil tanks in Tianjin ethylene-refining project of oil storage-transport layout systems engineering, and optimized some key designing works about the oil tank, such as the material of the oil tang, the calculation of oil tank wall, the typical of bottom, the typical of floating roof, the techniques of oil tank welding and the plan of anticorrosion etc.To ensure the safety of the oil tank, a finite element analysis was carried out by ANSYS software, considering that the structure under hydraulic pressure, equably wall-thinning and earthquake load. Meanwhile, the analysis-design method for pressure vessel was used to study the safety of the structure, and the results showed that the design is safe.
