Theα—olefin is an important chemical material which can be used in many fields . such as comonomer , surfactant composite intermediate , plastic alcohol , synthetic lube oil , lube additive and so on . Manyα—olefin processing technologies are used . The wax cracking methods are all stopped in foreign countries as the raw wax shortage and the poor product quality . producingα—olefin by wax cracking is an acceptable way in our country , as we have the plentiful wax resource . Theα—olefin market is now in the stage of the preceding development in our country . According to the demands for theα—olefin and its lower products at home and abroad , it is realistic to developα—olefin by wax cracking utilying our present wax cracking units .Producingα—olefin by wax cracking and compositing low solidifying point lube oil were industried as early as in the 1930' at abroad . The technology of producing alkyl benzene by wax cracking was developed in the middle 1960' and the yield was up to 200 thousand tons per year in 1970' . The demestic wax cracking industried is started from compositing lube oil and the alkyl benzene production is started from 1966, Our country is rich in the wax resources which provides a vast range of industrial prospects for making synthetic alkyl benzene and lube oil by wax cracking . In order to obtain the high qualifiedα—olefin in the wax cracking units , the test that seeks the operation conditions of producingα—olefin by half wax cracking is made . The factors which affect the olefin quality during the production are analyzed . Meanwhile , the process flows and process conditions of wax cracking are optimized . The technical reform plan is determined , The units is reformed and the wax cracking process is optimized in the base of the plan . As a result , the qualifiedα—olefin is obtained . The olefin yields by cracking is increased from 37% to 61% . The content of normalα—olefin in the liquid hydrocarbon is also increased from 50~55% to more than 80% .The olefin products made from the industrial tests are developed . several typesα—olefin lubricating products, alkyl benzene, AOS, T803A, T106 and so on are obtained . provide technical support for the use of paraffin wax resources and market development of mixed cracking Olefin, we develop a new channel for the comprehensive utilization of wax resources.
