Design And Synthesis Of Novel Based Surfactant

With the development of the science and technology,the research,produce and application of the surfactant are continuously expanding in recent years.New surfactant is also come out.Amino acid based surfactant is a series of N-acylamino acid surfactant,which is prepared by using the reaction of amino acid with fatty acid.N-Acylamino acid surfactant is based on the material of organism.It has good surface property and can be used as aseptic.In addition,it also has the property of antisepsis and anticirotic.So the study on the N-acylamino acid surfactant is important.In this paper,N-halo fatty acid is firstly esterified to avoid producing by-product in next step,then etherified with different phenols.A series of fatty acid with different rigid structure and chain length is prepared by hydrolyzing of the aliphatic ester. Lastly,the fatty acids reacted with SOCl₂,and then reacted with amino acid through Schotten-Baumann condensation.All the compounds are examined by HNMR,MS and IR.During the preparation of N-acylamino acid,the reaction conditions of acylchloride with amino acid condensation were identified by optimizing the synthetic conditions of N-acylamino acid:reaction taken place in a solvent composed by THF/water;dropping acylchloride in order to sufficiently react with amino acid to avoid hydrolysis;reacted at zero centigrade degree.To the reaction mixture were slowly added 10%of KOH at the same time to maintain the pH at 9～10.
