One-dimension(1D)nanostructures have been a subject of intensive research due to their unique properties and intriguing applications.In this thesis,the nanostructured fibers were synthesized by electrospinning technique,which seems to provide the simplest approach to nanofibers among various methods.The electrical and electrochemical properties of these nanofibers were investigated for potential application.By modification of the receiver,micro devices were assembled in the electrospinning process and the electrical properties were studied.Based on the study of electrochemical properties of electrospun nanofibers,nanostructured fibers with novel structure were fabricated by the modifcation of electrospinning apparatus.As an important semiconductor material,ZnO has widely applied in many fields. A large number of studies on 1D ZnO have been reported,since the outstanding electrical properties.Traditionally,1D ZnO is synthesis by wet chemical method and CVD method.In chapter two,the ZnO continuous nanofibers with diameter between 150 and 250 nm were prepared by electrospinning method using Zinc Acetate and Polyvinylpyrrolidone(PVP)as starting materials.The precursor fibers and ZnO nanofibers were character by XRD,TEM,SEM,IR and TGA.By modification of the receiver,arrayed single ZnO nanofibers were obtained on the matrix.The electrical property of the single nanofiber was studied.In chapter three,the LiCoO2/PVP nanofibers were fabricated by electrospinning method.The diameter of the nanofibers is between 200nm and 500nm.LiCoO2 nanoparticles,which were starting material in the nanofibers,were prepared by thermal decomposition of LiCoC6H5O7·5H2O.Both with the nanoparticles and nanofibers were character by XRD,IR,TGA,TEM and SEM.The LiCoO2/PVP nanofibers were investigated with charge-discharge processes.With the study,the LiCoO2/PVP nanofibers reveal an electrochemical property as a potential cathode material.The preparation of LiCoO2/PEO/Co3O4 composite nanofibers is introduced in chapter four.The fabrication of this novel structured nanofiber due to the improvement of the co-electrospinning apparatus.The structure of the nanofibers, which was observed by TEM and SEM is similar to the structure of micro batteries. The layers of the nanofiber,from outer to inner,are~130nm,~100nm and~400nm.In addition,since the LiCoO2 and Co3O4 act as cathode and anode respectively,as well as PEO is solid electrolyte,the composite nanofibers have a potential application as a nano-cell.
