As oil field goes into mid and late development period, water control becomes one of the core job for water injection. In order to control the water cut increase effectively in oil wells and the whole oil field and enhance oil field development which requires the water volume we injected to the well, the block and the layer to follow the geological allocation. The purpose of quantitative water injection technology is to change the relationship between the volume and pressure drop fore-and–aft the flow regulator to keep a steady volume of water injection, so that the blanking plug can act correspondingly to the pressure drop's change to reduce the water volume's fluctuation. This thesis analyzed the mechanism of quantative blanking plug and established its mathematic model; founded the relationship between blanking plug's water flow, pressure drop and its opening by numerical simulation. The transfer function was established based on the piston's movement function which was founed by its force analysis. A software was developed for blanking plug's design follow the design method found by this thesis. Two examples which calculated by the software were given and were validated by numerical simulation and laboratory experiment. It is indicated that the blanking plugs which were designed by the software have a good quantitative performance with tiny error in their rated working point and can resist pressure drop's fluctuation. All of this claims that the blanking plug designed by the method founded by this thesis can fulfill the field's requirement of water injection precision.
