In recent years, many fields have applied polymer flooding technology indoors and aboard, better economic results has achieved. In the preparation process of polymer solution, the curing equipments, including maturation tank and stirring machine occupied a large part of investment in the surface engineering. If the maturation of polymer mother liquor can be realize in the pipeline, it will largely reduce the investment of surface engineering, so the maturation experiments of polymer mother liquor are made in the pipeline. The following research outcome has been gained1.The rheology and the rheology influence factors of HPAM solution are studied through the measure of polymer solution's rheological behaviors, Based on steady shear experiment, it shows that the shear viscosity of polymer solution increase with the increase of molecular mass, concentration, with the decrease of shear rate; The shear viscosity of polymer solution increase with the increase of temperature, but it have small influence to herpetology; besides, the pressure have no influence to the rheology. Within the range of shear rate under researched, the relationship between shear viscosity and shear rate for polymer solution complies with Power Law principal2. Some concepts and description methods on mixing and mixing degree are expounded, and the mixing degree is mainly described with intensity and heterogeneity degree. The relationship between intensity, heterogeneity mixing, apparent viscosity and the length of pipe is obtained.3. The VOF model has been applied to simulate the shearing breaking mechanism of polymer liquid droplet in tube flow under microscopic dimension, the result of which demonstrates that the breaking process are comprised of three main periods of surface feather zed, liquid droplet deformation and little droplet departing from big ones to form numerous sub droplets of different size dispersing in calculation domains. Among the five different shearing rate of 64, 80, 96, 128 and 160 under researched, the 160 shearing rate has the most serious shearing breaking. Therefore, the process of maturation is increasing following the increase of shearing rate in the 8 different viscosities of 100, 200, 300, 500, 1000, 1500, 2000 and 3000, the 100 one shows much easier to be breaked, and the difficulty of shearing breaking seems increasing with the increasing of viscosity. the polymer droplet is taking the form of some sort of deformation instead of breaking under the viscosity of 1500. The research result of diameters of 20, 30, 50, 100 and 150 of polymer solution droplet shows that the extent of the shearing breaking process of polymer solution droplet is decreasing with the incrasing of the diameter of it. So this is another phenomenon that is contradictary with the general knowledge.4. According to field experiment, maturation phenomenon has been proved in the tube flow of polymer solution, and the mechanical shearing function of the tube flow has become the agitative driving force to further dissolve the polymer solution. under the five different flow rate of 0.4m/s, 0.5m/s, 0.6m/s, 0.8m/s and 1.0m/s, the minimum transportation distance of tube maturation are 1500m, 1800m, 2000m, 2500m, 3000m respectively. in order to keep the fully maturation of the polymer solution, the maturation time should be fixed at 65 minutes.
