The hydrogen-oxygen welding and cutting equipment of water electrolysis is a new environmental protection product applying for the welding and cutting fields recently , which takes water and power as resources.As the core component of hydrogen-oxygen welding and cutting equipment,the electrode reaction in water electrolyzer internal determines electrolytic efficiency,gas production and power consumption etc.Based on the electrode reaction kinetics theory,analyzing the process of evolution hydrogen and evolution oxygen in electrolysis water,and establishing the kinetincs model of evolution hydrogen and evolution oxygen electrode,analyzing the effects of electrode materials of physicochemical properties,electronic structure,surface shape and geomtrical shape in evolution hydrogen and evolution oxygen processes,points out that the whole reaction of control step is determined byM-H bonds and M-OH bonds strength.Increased electrode surfaces roughness and using porous electrode can increase electrode surfaces activity and decrease power consumption.Based on the calculation fluid mechanics theory and gas-liquid two phases flow theory,establishs the electrolyer internal fluid dynamics equations and uses fluent software to simulate and analyze electrolyzer interal fluids,the results showed that:the bottom pressure of electrolyzer lower is most high,successively upward pressure gradually decreases, the same height pressure is different,that is the constant pressure plane with geometric height is misalignment,showed the trend is gradually increased from electrod tablet oriented electrolyzer internal.The pressure field of electrolyzer upper with the gas out-put as center,toward electrolyzer internal showed the arcus distribution,and distanced from the gas out-put more far,the pressure iso-surface distributed more sparse.For the design of electrolyzer and gasket structure provided theoretical guiding.Based on the principle of electrolysis water,using the pulse voltage and dc voltage to electrolyze water,conclusion that the pulse electrolysis effects far better than dc electrolysis under the same conditions,When U is 2.4 V the pulse electrolysis gas productions is the dc electrolysis 6 times or so,by adjusting the electrode distance and the electroyte concentration,obtained the best matching relationship of the electrode distance and lectroyte concentration,when d is 15 mm and electrolyte concentration is 30%,the electrolysis effect was best,by regulating the pulse parameters(pulse peak voltage,pulse width,pulse frequency) to change the gas productions.Researchs found that the gas productions and the pulse width,pulse peak voltage into proportional relationship. under other pulse parameters were constant ,while the relationship of gas productions and pulse frequency was complicated.Gas productions appeared peak value point with the changes of pulse grequency.Gas productions peak value point drifted to frequency more higher point with pulse width gradually increased,pulse frequency from(θ=20%)1500 Hz to 2000 Hz(θ=37.5%),whenθ=50%,gas production peak value point corresponding pulse frequency arrived 2500 Hz.
