The paper studies the non-linearity, uncertainty and real-time requirements in hot-rolling mill, with the combination of theoretical research, computer simulation and application of realistic.First of all, through the theoretical analysis of Automation Gauge Control (AGC), the relationship between the AGC system and extra condition of hot-rolling mill is summarized comprehensively and systematically, and the AGC mathematics model is given out.Secondly, the Smith predictive and Fuzzy control method is raised and coped with AGC. The paper adopts this method and makes dynamic setting simulation in hot-rolling system. The simulation results show that the control strategy proposed in this paper is not only very effective in the elimination of some genetic disturbances such as temperature deviations, width deviations, and material non-uniformity and so on, but also solves the contradictions of stability and functionality and enhances the robustness of the system. Finally, with simulation and practical demonstrations, the control system works well, and has a promotional value. The results show that Fuzzy-Smith control system is simple and easy to implement and the effect is superior to the traditional PID controller. The control strategy has reached a higher level of requirement and has good robustness and anti-interference.
