Conducting Polymer Micro/nano-structure Materials Synthesized By Template Method

In this article, conducting polymer nano-materials were successfully prepared by using different materials as template, in this system. Morphology and structure of the templates was an important impact on micro-morphology, structure, and sensitivity. At the same time, possible formation mechanism of conducting polymer nano-materials was proposed. The main results are obtained as follow:1: Silica/polyaniline core-shell nanocomposite was synthesized by dispersion polymerization using chitosan as stabilizer. The morphologies of all products were characterized by Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) images and Transmission electron microscopy (TEM) image. Their molecule structures and nanostructures were characterized by Raman spectra, X-ray diffraction, Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX), and Diameter distribution. Silica/polyaniline core-shell nanocomposite we synthesized was proved to be an excellent precursor to prepare silica/polyaniline/PbS core-shell nanocomposite.2. Polypyrrole nanostructure-materials(polypyrrole spheres were collected from the reaction container, fiber-like polypyrrole was collected were collected from the inner tubes)were successfully prepared by using thin glass tubes as single template in the presence of H4SiW12O40 which was used as dopant and oxidant in this system. The structure of the polypyrrole was characterized by IR spectrum, XRD pattern. polypyrrole micro/nano-shperes SEM images, and TEM images. The conductivity of polypyrrole spheres was 0.18 S/cm when the molar ratio of oxidant and pyrrole was 1:1. At the same time, possible formation mechanism of polypyrrole microspheres and fiber-like polypyrrole were proposed.
