| In this paper, a newβ-diketone ligand and bis-(β-diketone)nickel,copper(Ⅱ) complexs(1,2)(as seen in the following figure)were synthesized and characterized by EA,FTIR,NMR and single-crystal X-ray diffractions. The kinetics of reverse atom transfer radical polymerization(RATRP) of methyl methacrylate(MMA) at different temperatures is studied in this paper. Polymerizations of MMA have been carried out under the conditions using AIBN initiator with bis-(β-diketone) nickel, copper(Ⅱ) complexs as the catalyst and xylene used as solvent. The vinyl-polymerizations of MMA have been studied in detail by using bis-(β-diketone)nickel,copper(Ⅱ) catalytic systems. All above catalytic systems were found to be efficient for the polymerization of MMA.We also studied the influence of reanction time, reanction temperature and catalys concentration for polymerization of MMA.Employing bis-(β-diketone)nickel catalytic system,it is help to enhance the yield by increasing temperature.Increasing catalys concentration is favorable for enhancing conversion. Employing bis-(β-diketone) copper(Ⅱ) catalytic system,we found the efficient for the polymerization of MMA.Extending reaction time can help to increase conversion, and the conversion were up to the higest value at 16 hours. It explains the bis-(β-diketone) copper(Ⅱ) catalytic system is excellent for polymerization of MMA at 80℃,16hours. |
