| Emulsion plays a role of blood in hydraulic support, which is used as actuating medium in hydraulic system. According to the rule in《Coal Mine Safety Regulation》, the concentration of Emulsion should range from 3% to 5% in general. If the concentration is too high, the cost of production will be increased; reversely, it will lead to the worse lubricating property of Emulsion and influence the life span of hydraulic device. Therefore, it is necessary to control the concentration in proper range.This paper researches on testing system of Emulsion concentration based on ultrasonic velocity according to traditional lagging means of testing. Regarding to the principle that ultrasonic velocity in liquid is different with different concentration of liquid, ultrasonic transducer is applied in this testing system.This research mainly includes the following three aspects. Firstly, with respect to hardware, the emitting and receiving circuits are put emphasis on to design according to the property of ultrasonic wave and ultrasonic transducer. Secondly, in the aspects of software, the procedure of emitting pulse, temperature collecting and counting of Timer are programmed. Meanwhile, the Lab Windows/CVI is adopted to design human-machine interactive interface so as to carry out the testing of Emulsion concentration. Thirdly, based on all above, the testing platform is set up. Meanwhile, according to the data of experiment, the function curves among the concentration of Emulsion, ultrasonic velocity and temperature are fitted via least square method. Furthermore, the algorithm is put up to carry out testing the concentration of Emulsion based on ultrasonic velocity.The research and probe in this paper demonstrate that the method of ultrasonic velocity which is adopted in this paper to test the Emulsion concentration is feasible. It will not only provide a new way to test the concentration of Emulsion, but also establish the foundation for the subsequent automatic proportion of Emulsion. |
