Nowadays, the second generation superconductor, YBC0 coated conductors (CCs), which has promising applied field such as medicine, electricity, military, and electronic industry, attracts a lot of countries' scientists and governors' attention. The structure of the CCs usually contains three layers: substrate, buffer layer, superconductor film, or contains tow layers: substrate and superconductor film. This thesis aims at the electro-chemical approach of fabrication of textured metal substrates. The precursor Cu slice and NiW alloy slice will be prepared by heat-treatment approach. After that, the slice' s surface will be electro-deposited while the surface has been electro-polished. the fabrication approach of depositing the different metal on the surface of different metal slice by different . factors will be exploring. Then the XRD system and SEM system will be used to analysis the crystal orientation, the density and the surface of deposition layer , and we need to discuss the different electro-chemical factors effecting the fabrication of substrate' s layer deposition. The research contains as follows:(1) The Cu and NiW alloy slice are the raw materials which will be treated during the heat-treatment by high temperature. This will make the structure of slice to be textured crystal structure.(2) Ni layer will be prepared by the electro-depositing method. After electro-polishing the slice' s surface, we will get the uniform and smooth fresh surface. In order to find the best approach of experiment, we will explore the electro-chemical factors and find the right organism dissolved into the deposition solutions, and finally determine the plan of experimental program.(3) We will try to deposit Ag on the metal slice according to electro-chemical approach, and find the prescription of non-poison electro-platting solution, then analysis the crystallizing procedure and the surface etc., finally, discuss whether we can carry out the program by this approach.(4) The figure of XRD shows that we can get good textured crystal structure of Cu and NiW alloy slice by heat-treatment. The graph of SEM shows that the deposited layer is the right metal we need, and the surface of the layer has high quality. The better approach to deposit Ag on NiW alloy needs more exploration. While we deposit Ni on Cu, and Ag on Ni layer later, we have got the result unexpected, even the result is not good but it still could be the reference to be considered during the later experiment. It needs more work to do on directly depositing of Ag layer.
