In this thesis, rapid chemical test strip for adulteration in milk was studied firstly. The strip has been improved by optimizing the concentration of reagent. The sensitivities of strips for nitrite, borate, amylum, hydrogen peroxide, salicylate, sodium pyrosulfite and sodium bicarbonate were 0.5mg/100ml, 0.5g/100ml, 0.1 g/100ml, 0.01 g/100ml, 0.05 g/100ml, 0.1 g/100ml, 0.03 g/100ml respectively; Then the seven strips we mentioned above were combined as a test card for the first time, and the sensitivities had been remained. It was suitable for test for a large scale of screen. In addition, a gold immunochromatographic assay (GICA) was established for group-specific determination of penicillins in milk. To render it immunogenic, ampicillin was coupled to BSA by three methods. The coupling ratios of the three antigens determined by UV analytical method were 10, 7 and 19. The optimal coating antigen is antigen C.Finally, the various factors and conditions of the immunochromatographic lateral-flow assay were explored, and the optimal reaction conditions of the assay were ascertained. GICA for rapid detection of ampicillin in milk was successfully established. The testing result could be obtained in 5 minutes and the sensibility is 10μg/ml.
