As there are many parts worked in a broad temperature scope in the area of the aviation and aerospace, the materials which are used in the condition of changeable temperatures, especially in the case of precisely requested, should have the heat stability in a certain extent. The thermal expansion coefficient (CTE) not only the important performance of materials, but also the important parameter for structure designs. Under the situation on the 4th China's new generation of geostationary orbit meteorological satellite of the three-axis stabilized platform to the deformation demand, this paper concerns that the analysis and calculate of thermal expansion properties of single and hybrid muti-directional composite , the selection of advanced composite materials and the design of overlay to meet the conditions of the use of micro-expansive performance requirements which are based on the classical laminated plate theory and the ANSYS software.First, select the single sub-composite materials; deduce the formulate of the single-layer board's thermal expansion coefficient; and the thermal expansion coefficient; discuss the relationship between thermal expansion coefficient and ply orientation angle of fiber; analyze the extent about the coefficient having been effected by the volume of fiber.Second, analyze and calculate the coefficient of different structure's laminates;discuss the rate of hybrid,the dates about hybrid interfaces and the order of ply having effects in thermal expansion coefficient ; analyze the data from ANSYS simulate the composite laminate thermal expansion coefficients are calculated, and the calculation program is also compiled and discuss the design of laminate with zero of thermal expansion coefficients.End, by analysis the single-layer board performance data, different laminate layers structure, its CTE value and the finite element simulation results were given. By the different layers of thermal expansion coefficient calculation and simulation, the expansion of micro-indicators optimal ply patterns are given based on the design requirement of the different structure pieces.
