Now the world, the tradition mineral resource approaches the depletion, and the shortage of resources question enormously limit the development of the world economics. China with high speed ecnomic rises is also facing the test of insufficient resources severe, so the urgent need is set for the new resources' development. is one byproduct in the process of oil refining. At present, it is mainly used in aluminum refining. Unfortunately, the high sulfur content of raw oil hamper the use of coke in metallurgy industry. So new application field need to found for those petroleum coke with high sulfur content.Due to having high carbon content and low ash content, petroleum coke has been regarded as a good raw material to prepare Porous Carbon. Moreover, the ash and volatile matter of Petroleum coke are so low that the porous carbon production is low. This will enable the refinery coke production porous coal to become in the future the porous coal production primary data and the trend of development. In this paper, different heating ways are adopted under different conditions; different activation methods (physical process - steam, chemical process - KOH, NaOH, ZnCl2) are adopted on the comparative trial. Through nitrogen adsorption, iodine adsorption, benzene adsorption, the influencing factors are studied,and the optimization design to the craft are carried on, and the surface area of the Porous Carbon product could be enhanced as far as possible.Taking the dushantze petroleum coke as raw material, heating furnace heating ways are adopted, taking the steam as the activator, the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the activation time grows.It aslo grows first increased and then decreased as activation temperature grows.But it changes a little as the the steam current grows. the best technological conditions of preparing porous carbon is the carbonization temperature 500℃, activation temperature 800℃, carbonization time 2h, activation time 60min, steam current capacity 7.0ml/min. The benzene adsorption is 652mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 822mg/g under the this technological conditions. As taking KOH, NaOH, ZnCl2 as activators, the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the ratio of the active agent to raw material grows. And the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the activation time grows. And the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the activation temperature grows. The best activator is KOH, the best activation temperature is 800℃,and the activation time is 60min,and the best ratio of the active agent to raw material is 4:1, and the benzene adsorption is 1010mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 2240mg/g. Taking NaOH as the activator, the best ratio of the active agent to raw material is 5:1, and the benzene adsorption is 505mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 1500mg/g. Taking ZnCl2 as the activator, the best ratio of the active agent to raw material is 1:4, and the benzene adsorption is 420mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 665mg/g. Microwave radiation heating ways are adopted, taking the steam as the activator, the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the microwave irradiation time grows. It aslo grows first increased and then decreased as the microwave power grows.But it changes a little as the the steam current grows. the best technological conditions of preparing porous carbon is the microwave irradiation time16min, the microwave power 1200w, the steam current capacity 7.0ml/min. As taking KOH, NaOH, ZnCl2 as activators, the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the ratio of the active agent to raw material grows. And the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the microwave power grows. And the benzene adsorption and the iodine adsorption value grow first increased and then decreased as the microwave irradiation time grows. The best activator is KOH, the best microwave power is 1200W,and the microwave irradiation time is 16min,and the best ratio of the active agent to raw material is 4:1, and the benzene adsorption is 1120mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 2359mg/g. Taking ZnCl2 as the activator, the best ratio of the active agent to raw material is15%, and the benzene adsorption is 510mg/g and the iodine adsorption is 780mg/g.According to the comparison to the heating furnace heating ways and the microwave radiation heating ways , it is discovered that the microwave heating has many special advantages to prepare actived carbon, such as high selectivity, high heating speed, excellent efficiency, saving energy, easy to operate, self control, etc. The specific surface area and adsorption ability of activated carbon made by microwave radiation heating ways are higher than those of actived carbon prepared by the heating furnace heating ways .The hole structure preservation is quite complete, the porosity distribution is uniform and the hole diameter Distribution are better.
