The load composition of water pollution has been changed obviously with the effectively control on point source pollution in recent years. Non-point source (NPS) pollution has become the chief cause of water contamination and lake eutrophication especially agriculture NPS pollution. As the water source of middle route line of South-to-North Water Transfer Project, the water quality of Danjiang reservoir is at good situation and is suitable for water transfer in general. But it is reported that some branches of the upriver are in bad situation, which are mainly caused by agriculture NPS pollution .Therefore, it is important to study the agriculture NPS pollution for protecting the water quality of Danjiang reservoir. However, almost all the jobs in this field were limited to the cause of formation and the model and control measure, and lacked for a good interface to complete the publication and the management and the analysis and the visualization of ANPSP.Heimiaogou is branch of Qingtang river, The Second-level small branch on North Shore of Hanjiang River, which flows in the Danjiangkou reservoir from north to south. Although this branch is small, but it is representative in the Qingtang river basin and the entire Danjiangkou Reservoir district. In this basin the land utilization intensity is big and the population is dense, and the agriculture non-point source pollution is serious. With a case of Heimiaogou watershed in Danjiang reservoir area, this research constructs a relatively uniform monitoring indicator system which is divided to three levels that are indicator group, indicator subgroup and indicator. The indicator group is consist of four groups, which are soil and water loss influence factors indicator group, soil and water loss status indicator group, agriculture non-point source pollution indicator group, agriculture non-point pollution controlling measure indicator group. Then puts forward monitoring methods and frequency of each indicator. This research does a detailed operation and data analysis of department of agriculture non-point source pollution monitoring. It synthetically applies advanced techniques such as GIS technique, database technique, management information system technique, and so on, and designs an agriculture non-point source pollution monitoring management information system which can realize data collection, processing, storage, management, analysis and decision-making application. This system is a desktop version, chosen Visual Basic as development platform, Access as relation data management, file as figure and multimedia data management. It adopts multi-tier structure and component (Component Object Model and Component Object Model Plus) as main develop techniques, designs four subsystems which are data input, management of basic watershed information, management of agriculture non-point source pollution monitoring information, achievement output. Each of these subsystems has its own function. All of them form an organic system. This system has the GIS function, can manage and analysis the spatial data which involves in the agricultural non-point source pollution monitoring very well. The result of this research could be applied as information management and data analysis tool for the monitoring departments to improve the work efficiency and result precision. It will be help to standardize the behavior of agriculture non-point source pollution monitoring, provide gist for forecasting the agriculture non-point source pollution and establishing preventing and controlling scheme in future. The system is helpful to data accumulation. It will provide foundation for data mining and model establishment and so on.
