Oil field multi-purpose station with it's characteristics of many equipments and complex flow, is the primary part and energy consumption unit of oil&gas gathering and transportation system, and is also directly affected especially in high water cut exploitation by production, equipments, energy consumption, efficiency change etc. Obviously, saving energy and reducing consumption are urgent affairs. Therefore, it is necessary to research and analyze the partial and holistic energy consumption of the multi-purpose station and optimize the operation to reduce the cost and energy consumption.In this paper, the oil field multi-purpose station operating optimization software which can optimize the operating parameters without changing the technologic flow was made based on the Gu 4th oil field multi-purpose station, the energy equilibrium models and exergy equilibrium models were made and the energy consumption of the main equipments and the holistic multi-purpose station was analyzed using this software, and established the multi-purpose station operating optimization mathematic model with the minimum operating cost as the object function and found the key operating parameters which influence the cost according on the calculation results. Work out the model with appropriate optimization method to reduce the cost and increase the efficiency of the oil&gas gathering and transportation system. The actual situation of the Gu 4th oil field multi-purpose station was calculated with this software. The best operating parameters were given and the operating cost was reduced from 18244.5 thousand yuan to 13656.8 thousand yuan. The results indicate that the key operating parameters can be optimized and scientific and objective energy consumption assessment about the oil field multi-purpose station was given and it's feasible to reduce the operating cost and increase the efficiency of the oil field multi-purpose station using this software.
