Concerning the sustainable requirements of 4 million of oil production, the need of further enhancing chemically flooded oil recovery in Daqing oilfield is urgent day after day. And furthermore from the viewpoints of big trends such as to improve the effects and benefits of polymer flooding, save energies and at same time reduce the consumption, the development adjusting techniques that are close connected with polymer flooding results should be further perfected, especially with the continuous enlargement of applied deep profile adjusting technique by polymer flooding, to improve the above technique has become more and more important.Integrating with the practices of laboratory study results and field application of the technique in Xingbei development block of Daqing oilfield, the paper begins from the fine geological characterization of the main oil layers, researches their displaced features, analyzes the necessity of conducting profile adjustment and more over studies the standards of choosing wells and layers. At the same time, the matched techniques of deep profile adjustment of polymer flooding are studied; the formulation of adjusting system, slug design, adjustment opportunity and the optimization of injection model are explored; the dynamic response features, effects and economic benefits of different adjusting techniques are analyzed and evaluated, finally the existed problems of current adjusting techniques are deeply discussed.With the help of the necessity study of deep profile-adjusting techniques in polymer flooding, the layer choosing standards have been made clear, the adjusting techniques have been improved, the adjustment results have been increased and the better economic benefits have been obtained. And even more, the development orientation of profile adjustment has been beneficially explored. All the finished studies above provide very important guide for the sustainable improvement of deep profile adjusting techniques in polymer flooding.
