Tetrathiafulvalene(TTF) has a larger delocalized core and can exist in several clearly defined stable oxidation states.TTF is a readily available molecule which displays a strong electron-donor ability and exhibit high thermal and photochemical stabilities.For this reason TTF and their derivatives have found widespread use in novel materials chemistry and supramolecular chemistry,for example,crown annelated ligands,Langmuir-Blodgett film deposition,cation sensors,nonlinear optical materials,supramolecular switches,organic ferromagnets,and so on.In two decades,it became a hot topic and also got some developments in synthesizing special functional extended TTF and derivatives.Extended tetrathiafulvalenes have attracted much attention due to their low oxidation potentials when compared to simple tetrathiafulvalene(TTF) derivatives.There are,however, still a few reports of the preparation of the conducting salts of TTF-vinylogues.The one is the requirement of multistep syntheses of the neutral donors and the other is the difficulty of the crystallization.Recently,research progress of extended TTF and its derivative has been reviewed in optical,electric and redox.So,synthesis theses compounds will have a deep promising.First of all,we used hydrazine,carbon bisulfide and bromic-alkyl in ultrasonic reaction to get target moleculars.Sequentially,we discussed the best reaction condition.Accordingly,we got the best reaction condition.The structures of target compounds were confirmed by 1H NMR,13C NMR and MS.Furthermore,we can not obtain compound 3 under the ultrasonic reaction condition.So we synthesized 3 by reduce dimethyl 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dicarboxylate and 2-thioxo-1,3-dithiole-4,5-dicarboxylic acid then reacting with iodomethane to get 10 which go on reacting with hydrazine.In addition,we used X-Ray diffraction to detect the structure of 3 which is adopt planar conformation. Also its cell is monoclinic.Finally,according to the study from UV-Vis and CV,we can use chemical modification towards 3 to obtain special functional target molecular.
