Now, more and more people have paid more attention to the semiconductor material CdSe and CdTe, because of their quantum size effect, macroscopical quantum tunneling effect, surface effect and other special properties. These semiconductor materials have the potential application in solid luminescence, infrared, laser light, piezoelectricity effect and other devices. The microemulsion method seems to be particularly promising and undergo rapid improvement in the last few years as it does not require special instruments or extreme conditions, and it has the advantages of size tunable, high dispersion, morphology tunable to the preparation material. Now CdSe nanowires, hollow-structure CdSe and CdTe nanoparticle have been synthesized by using the nanosized aqueous nucleus in microemulsion as the template. It is significant to make an explorative investigation on preparing nanoparticles in microemulsion systems.10nm in diameter, 2um in length of the CdSe nanowires were prepared in quaternary system containing cetyl trimethyl ammonium bromide/hexane/isobutyl alcohol/aqueous solution. The microstructure, particle size, and morphologies of CdSe were characterized by means of X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM), transmission-scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy disperse spectroscopy (EDS). According to the means, this paper researched the effects of aging time, water content, content of surfactant and concentration of reactants to morphologies and stability. The result indicated CdSe nanowires can be prepared in the condition of W=43, 0.2mol/L in reactant concentration and 0.044 mol/L in the concentration of CTAB. The formation mechanism was studied to TEM chart.On the condition that W=44, 0.2mol/L in reactant concentration and 0.045 mol/L in the concentration of CTAB, the CdSe hollow spheres, hollow nanotubes, and bamnoo nanotubes were prepared in quaternary system in changing the modality of aqueous. The microstructure, particle size, and morphologies of CdSe were characterized by means of XRD, TEM and EDS. The formation mechanism of hollow structure CdSe was studied according to different conditions TEM chart.On the condition that W=40, 0.2mol/L in reactant concentration and 0.044 mol/L in the concentration of CTAB, the CdTe nanoparticles were prepared in quaternary system in nitrogen entironment. The microstructure, particle size, and morphologies of CdTe were characterized by means of XRD, TEM and EDS. According to the means, this paper researched the effect of aging time, W, water modality to morphologies and stability,and analyzed the formation mechanism.
