Study On The Dispersion, Performances, Applications In Nature Rubber And Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Of ZnO/Ag Nano-Composite Inorganic Antimicrobial Agent

In this paper, the dispersion process of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent was studied with a variety of surfactant, and antimicrobial performance, anti-algae performance and security of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agents were characterized, the composite antibacterial natural rubber (CANR) and the composite antibacterial styrene-butadiene rubber (CASBR) were synthesized.1. The vacuum-sintered and air-sintered ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent were dispersed by a variety of surfactant , according to the trying experiment, the settlement experiment, laser particle size distribution and TEM, the dispersion effect of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent were characterized. Then, the better dispersant and its dispersion technology were selected, and the dispersion mechanics of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agents were preliminary discussed.The results show that: there are some good dispersants, such as anionic surfactant polyacrylate and its derivatives (PAAS and P90), the block structure of the non-ionic surfactant (PVPK17), strongly hydrophilic- mission (lignin sulfuric sodium TBP) of the non-ionic surfactant, PAAS and PVPK17 complex, P90 and PVPK17 complex, and so on, the dispersion effect of the vacuum-sintered specimens and the air-sintered specimens dispersed by them were better than others. The best processes of decentralization were like this: all the grinding time is 20 min, all the magnetic stirring time is 20 min, all the ultrasonic dispersion time is 30 min. The concentration of PAAS (P90) is 1.4g/L, the mass fractions are 20 ~ 30%, the dispersion medium is water, pH= 9~10, in the average size is about 20nm. The concentration of PVPK17 is 10g/L, the mass fractions are20~ 48%, the dispersion medium is isopropanol, the average particle size is around 40 nm. The concentration of TBP is 10g/L, the mass fractions are 40 ~ 50 %, the dispersion medium is n-hexane; the average particle size is about 50 nm. The concentration of P90 is 1.4g/L, the mass fractions of P90 are 20 ~30%, the concentration of PVPK17 is 10 g/L, the mass fractions of PVPK17 are 5%, the dispersion medium is isopropanol, pH=10, the average particle size about 10 nm. The concentration of KH550 is 20g/L, the dispersion medium is n-hexane, the mass fractions are 33 ~ 50%, the average particle size is about 80 nm.2. The antibacterial performance of fore-after ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent dispersed by surfactant PAAS were discussed; and the effect on Chlorella of vacuum-sintered and air-sintered ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent were studied; and its acute oral toxicity and acute skin irritation were evaluated.The results show that: Before the ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent dispersed, either the vacuum-sintered specimens or the air-sintered specimens, its minimum inhibitory concentration to the Escherichia coli is 300 mg/L, After PAAS dispersed its minimum inhibitory concentration is 50mg/L to the Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus auras, antibacterial rate achieves more than 99.93%, its antibacterial performance is excellent. The air-sintered specimens and vacuum-sintered specimens of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent had excellent anti-algae performance, its minimum inhibitory concentration on Chlorella is less than 5 mg/L. The air-sintered specimens and vacuum-sintered specimens of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent had excellent security performance, the nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial is not poisonous by the acute oral toxicity test and it is no irritation by acute dermal irritation test.3. The antibacterial composite natural rubber were prepared by double roll mixing method, the addition and the specimens sintered way of the ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent affected the CANR's characteristics, such as the curing performance , antibacterial properties, and the antibacterial performance and anti-algae performance of CANR was selected. The results show that: with the addition amount of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent increase, the curing time reduced, and adds more, the effect is more markedly effective. The vulcanization time of vacuum-sintered specimens is less than the air-sintered specimens. Along with the addition increase, the antimicrobial rate increases. In the same other conditions, the antibacterial performance of vacuum sintered specimens is slightly better than air sintered specimens. Compared with ordinary rubber, the CANR has good antibacterial properties with the nano-composite antibacterial agent added. When the addition is 3.6%, the antibacterial property of CANR with the vacuum sintered specimens is the best, the antimicrobial rate is 100%, anti-algae performance attains superior 0 class standard.4. The antibacterial composite styrene-butadiene rubber were prepared by double roll mixing method, the addition and the specimens sintered way of the ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent affected the CASBR's characteristics, such as the curing performance, mechanical performance, antibacterial performance, and the antibacterial performance of CASBR was selected.The results show that: with the addition amount of ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent increase, the curing time reduce, and adds more, the effect is more markedly effective. The vulcanization time of vacuum-sintered specimens is less than the air-sintered specimens. The shore hardness, elongation at break, tensile strength, 100% elongation, 300% elongation, tear strength and other mechanical performances of CASBR are improved with ZnO/Ag nano- composite inorganic antimicrobial agent added. Along with the addition increase, the antimicrobial rate increases, in the same other conditions, the antibacterial performance of vacuum sintered ZnO/Ag nano-composite inorganic antimicrobial agent is slightly better than air sintered specimens. The CASBR, When the addition of CASBR are 1.15 to 4.99 %, whether it is air or vacuum sintered specimens, all CASBR have antibacterial properties, when the addition is 4.99%, the antibacterial rate is more than 99%, CASBR excellent antibacterial properties.
