With the development of Chinese economy, cities are growing bigger and people's living consumption standard is improving. This means more and more municipal waste is produce with more complicate composition. The problem of fast growth of waste quantity needs effective waste treatment technology urgently.According to the survey to Chinese waste treatment, waste to energy is proved to be the most suitable technology to Chinese requirement of Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. This article collected and analysed the information of main grate technology and market share in China and their reference, based on Chinese policy for this industry, grate technology that is suitable for Chinese waste is my focus.This article take the model of SITY2000 waste stoker and flue gas cleaning technology adopted in Tongxing, researched the influence of process parameter especially combustion temperature, flue gas residence time, turbulence, access air, grate mechanical load, residue burn out ratio and steam temperature to combustion effect, heat efficiency and emission.The operational monitoring data of Tongxing WTE plant proved that SITY2000 technolgy is suitable to high content, low heating value waste. It could combust steadily with high availability but without additional fuel. Emission value could meet national stardard.and part of critical emission value meet EU standard. The effect of Tongxing application could be spread widely.This article is hopefully to be a reference to professional people in WTE industry.
