TiAl intermetallic compound based alloys are new type high temperature structural materials applied for aerospace and aircraft industries because of their low density, high strength and good creep resistance. However, its low hardness and poor wear resistance have been restricting its application. The purpose of this paper is to seek appropriate coating material system to improve the wear resistance of TiAl alloys and study the effects of laser remelting and nanostructured agglomerated powders to the microhardness and wear resistance. of composite ceramic coatings prepared by plasma spraying. Meanwhile, their morphology and microstructure were research. The experimental results will provide the necessary tests and theoretical foundation for preparing the high-performance nanostructured composite ceramic coatings on TiAl surface. The conclusions are drown as following:(1).AT13/YPSZ micron/nano-ceramic composite powder as raw materials for plasma spraying, adjustment process parameters about plasma spraying, preparation of a nano-structured composite ceramic coating.(2).Cladding remelting which raw materials as AT13/YPSZ micron/nano-ceramic composite powder, preparation of an excellent wear resistance of the ceramic coating, exploring the impact about laser remelting to the thermal spray coating microstructure, hardness and wear resistance.(3).Evaluating the wear-resistance of composite coating at room temperature and under the conditions of high temperature and analysis of the wear mechanism.
