Firstly MMD and MBC was prepared, which both are hexahydric circularity monomers.In the synthesis of MMD, using L-alanine as the raw material, the addition way and speed of chloroacetyl chloride and sodiumhydroxide, the addition speed of triethylamine,the speed of blend, the amount of N,N-dimethylformamide(DMF) as solvent and the pH of the solution were investigated, which affect the yield of products. Using the similar synthesis route, with L-glutamic acid as the material, 3-(benzyloxycarbonyl ethylene)-morpholine-2,5-dione also were prepareded,In the synthesis of 5-methyl-5-benzyloxycarbonyl-1,3-dioxan-2-one, how to control the amount of 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic acid (DMPA) and the mol ratio of DMPA/KOH was researched so that benzyl bromide can react enough. In the synthesis of MBC, using benzyl 2,2-bis(hydroxymethyl)propionic and ethyl chloroformate, temperature and molar ratio of them were investigated to avoid the influence of exothermic reaction and to reduce byreaction, and the yield of MBC can reach 69%.MMD, MBC and D, L-lactide, which both are hexahydric circularity monomers, were polymerized in the present of stannous octoate. IR, ~1H-NMR, DSC and GPC were utilized for characterization and measurement of copolymers.
