In the process of natural gas exploiting, the life of Pipelines and facilities were impacted by wear and corrosion, which posed a threat to their safe operation. therefore, this essay researched on corrosion mechanism and safe operation of the state for the gas pipeline and the facilities of gas-collecting stations.The essay studied corrosion and analyzed types of corrosion and corrosion product of the representative Pipelines and Separators in the No.1 Gas Production Plant of Changqing Oilfield. The corrosion of pipelines and separators was caused by electrochemical corrosion, because of the coexistence of H2S,CO2 and water,at the same time,there were microbial corrosion.The detection of physical or chemical properties and non-destructive determination were carried out for pipeline and separators on the basis of studying on corrosion mechanism. Safety evaluation were carried out on the typical corrosion defect by amended B31G and finite element analysis method.The results provides a reliable theoretical evidence for safe operation and the development of regulation measures for pipelines and facilities. The innovation of the study:(1) The study showed that the corrosion of separators was mainly caused by electrochemical corrosion in Jingbian gas field, because of the effect of CO2-H2O (Cl-)-H2S system.(2) Safety evaluation were carried out on the typical corrosion defect of Pipelines and facilities by finite element analysis method in Jingbian gas field for the first time.
