In recent years, Much attention has been focused on the method in which one material was covered onto the surface of another material. For example, the titanium dioxide material was deposited onto the surface of a super-paramagnetic iron oxide core. Thus, the system produced in this work has a magnetic core-shell photocatalyst which has not only high photocatalytic activity but easily separation.Magnetic composite photocatalyst TiO2-γFe2O3 with the core of Fe3O4 was prepared by sol-gel method and another two photocatalysts Ag-TiO2/γFe2O3 and TiO2-I-/γFe2O3 were attained by ion-doped measurement, which were tested by TG-TDA,XRD,TEM,IR to acquire the surface shapes and chemical structure. Then, it was concluded that the magnetic core was covered by anatase TiO2, but the shape of sample was irregular due to the selection of commercial Fe3O4 with different size particle.on the basis of methyl orange of catalytic decomposition, compared with methyl orange , fuchsin and Naphthol green B were introduced to measure the efficiency of photocatalyst. By assessment of efficiency, Ag-TiO2/γFe2O3 was the most effective photocatalyst, Naphthol green B was decomposed within 10 minutes and methyl orange 20 minutes, while fuchsin needed 30minutes to be decomposed. In order to obtain the highest efficiency, different factors such as mass, temperature, duration were taken into account. After separation from mixture, despite the photocatalyst was recycled three times, it could meet phocatalyst's needs.
