With the development of industry , the problem of pollution is getting more and more serious.The Purification Technology in the Environment has become more and more important. In technique measures of controlling water pollution, nanocrys- talline TiO2 can produce the oxidative hyaroxyl radical by UV light,which has potential to degrade all organics into CO2 and H2O,and has high clarity, the high speed of degradation as well as no second pollution.TiO2 are divided into TiO2 thin films and nano size TiO2 powder. Because of its easy-recycled, good stability and other merits,TiO2 thin film is widely applied and becomes an important area on the research of photocatalyst. Electrodeposition is the common preparation methods for nanosized TiO2 thin film, and has many merits such as: low production cost,simple process, easy operation, easy quality control of the thin film, and suitable for mass production than other methods. But up to now, study on preparation of TiO2 nanofilm by electrodeposition is rare in China and abroad.Titanium dioxide film was prepared on the surface of alumina via pulsed anodizing and AC electrodeposition . Electrodeposition principle of TiO2 composite film and the main influence factors in the processes of preparation were analyzed. The photo-catalytic power of the TiO2 composite film has been promoted through metal doped nano-TiO2. The main results and conclusion can be summarized as follows:(1) Through pulse anodizing, Al2O3 was successfully obtained on aluminum surface. Analysis of various factors in pluse anodizing through orthogonal design, the optimal oxidation condition can be determined .(2) Nano-TiO2 could be electrodeposited in the pores of Al2O3 under the appropriate voltage and deposition time through AC deposition, then TiO2/Al2O3 composite film was obtained. Meanwhile, influences technological condictions(such as deposit liquid's formulation, the calcination temperature, deposition temperature and other factors)on optical properties of TiO2 film were discussed.(3) Metal (Ni,Co,Cu) were electrodeposited on TiO2/Al2O3 composite film with the appropriate voltage and deposition time through AC. TiO2/Al2O3 and M/TiO2/Al2O3 composite film were used to photoca- talyst in degradation of methylene blue. Effects of metal on photocatalytic property of TiO2/Al2O3 composite film were discussed.
