With the development of the civil and the improvement of environmental awareness, the problem of water pollution is more concerned. All kind of environmental legal, regulations and standard are promulgated. So wastewater treatment is raised more requests. Wastewater treatment technology of China is developed while absorbing and digesting abroad technology. All kinds of treatment technology are developed rapidly, such as A~2O, AB and SBR, CASS, Biological Contact Oxidation process, Biofilm and High Pressure Membrane ext. Activated Sludge + Biofilm composite process become main technologies with development prospects now. The basic knowledge of wastewater treatment and its general principle have been introduced simply. Some wastewater treatment technologies are also introduced. The developed processes of wastewater treatment technologies are retrospected. Its applications are summarized in actual engineering.According to the construction planning of new developed area, one wastewater treatment plant will be built. So a piece of wastewater treatment program will be selected. By analyzing the characteristic of wastewater and processing requirements, wastewater will be treated classifiably. By discussing and contrasting some wastewater treatment methods and process, the wastewater treatment program has been determined finally. High concentration organic wastewater is pretreated by using anaerobic method. Some common anaerobic reactors is compared from the sides of process principle, technical character and its applications etc. Then AF process is selected. Some wastewater contains cyanide, and it's highly toxic. For preventing from adverse effects to following process, this wastewater is pretreated by alkaline chlorination. Pretreated wastewater has been centralized and biochemistry treated. Considering removal efficiency of Ammonia and Organics, some processes and equipments are contrasted which are for nitrification and denitrification of ammonia-nitrogen and aerobic treatment of COD. A~2O process is applied in the biochemistry treatment system. The aerobic phase is linked with the character of Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor, Activated Sludge and Biofilm integration process is determined. MBBR process is a highly effective and compact method which absorbs the advantages of traditional Fluid Bed and Biological Contact Oxidation process. Not only is it applied to new projects, also to old plant upgrading. So it will develop extensively with high prospects. The efficiency of the water treatment process is analyzed and discussed. The main structures in water treatment are calculated briefly. According to the designed process, the treated water meets the control regulation.
