Since the discovery of carbon nanotubes by Iijima [1,2], their potential applications has been paid much attention. Especially, the metal-filled nanotubes'applications have received worldwide attention.The first part in this thesis briefly introducing the carbon tube (CNT), following this section the author summarizes the history and sorts and qualities about the carbon tube. In the second part, the relevant knowledge relating carbon nanotube thermometer (CNTT) is introduced. Moreover, the thesis also gives an introduction to the carbon nanotube nano-thermometer; the following, this paper illuminates the basic information about the molecular dynamics (MD); the rest of the text is the keystone of the paper, which presents the model of the CNTT, the values with simulation.The results predicted by the present model show that the model predictions are in good agreement with the available experimental data basically, and the model predictions monotonously increase with temperature, which is also in consistent with the physical situation.Finally, some possible future research directions are suggested regarding the MD in the CNT applications.
