Coal-water slurry is one kind of realistic coal liquid fuel. The burning efficiency is up to 96~99% or higher, boiler efficiency is about 90%, achieves the same level of fuel oil.It is also one kind of simple preparation, easy to transport and storage, safe, low pollution and new clean fuel, which has good development and the application prospect. The coal-water slurry gasification technology made certain size of the particles of coal and a small amount of additives into non-Newtonian fluids in the grinding machine. In conditions of high temperature and pressure, the CWS combustions with oxygen incompletely, the high temperature synthetic gas can be made in this system, obtains international society's attention by anvantage of good synthetic gas quality, high carbon conversion rate, high productivity for the single furnace, low emission of the three wastes. the water-coal-slurry gasification technology was also be listed as"65","75","85","95"of the scientific and technological projects in our country.Based on our current coal-water slurry gasification technology, By Texaco gasifier for the study, based on the gasifier flow, combustion and gasification characteristics of the reaction, Texaco gasification furnace will be divided into three regional simulation, that is, the burning area, back area and flow control zone, mass conservation and energy-conservation equation be used in each area, the lumped parameter dynamic mathematical model can be established. The model takes into account movement of gas-and coal paralysis, radiation and heat exchangers, including homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction gasification process. Carries on the tendency and the static simulation, get the Change tendency of the simulation results under different parameters.To understand more about the distribution of temperature and gas component, At the same time, CFD model could be established by Fluent, Uses the non-premix combustion model, the mix fractional method be used for the volatility gas turbulent combustion simulation. The model takes into account movement of gas-and coal paralysis, reaction heat, radiation and heat exchangers, including homogeneous and heterogeneous reaction gasification process. The realizable turbulent model was used, particles model was also adopted to include the radiation in the gasifier. The comparison between the industrial performance and the prediction data showed that the model could describe the gasification process correctly. The realizable k ?εturbulent model was used, p-1model was also adopted to include the radiation in the gasifier. The simulation results verifies well of the three area model division for the gasification furnace. The result from above two models matches well.
