When voltage difference between two electrodes in water is enough, it brings shock waves, intensely light and heat. This phenomenon is called electro-liquid effect. The essence of electro-liquid effect is the fast conversion of electricity to heat energy, light energy, mechanism energy. Electro-liquid effect has a nice applying future, such as sparker epicenter, extracorporeal lithotripsy, Water Treatment etc. Spark sound is use of the electro-liquid effect. When the high-intensity electric field between two electrodes breakdown the water dielectric, it brings arc-discharge and high-intensity acoustic pulse. In this thesis, the charge simulation method and PDE Toolbox are used to compute electric field intensity between two electrodes when we use different shape electrodes. .We want to find the rules of the maximum electric field intensity when voltage and distance are changing.The thesis research on the influence of shape of the electrode, the distance of the two discharge electrodes and the volume of discharge voltage on acoustic characteristics. They are the levels of acoustic intensity, the power spectrum density for acoustic pressure, the directivity and so on. To change the acoustic characteristics of the spark sound source. Design and make the anti-sound baffle. Aim to change the directivity and power spectrum density for acoustic source.
