With development of chemical industry, brewing, food and medicine etc., the range of product, as well as the scale of production is increasingly growing in recent years. Solid waste is also rapidly increasing because the amount of slag with high humidity and high viscous and worth recycling has a considerable annual output. There are more and more waste both from industry and daily life threatening the ecological environment. However, at present, there's no single drying equipment which could deal with the large amount of materials with high humidity and high viscous. One of the best resolutions is to combine two or more drying machines or, add some special device mechanically. After this, combination drying comes out, which, in fact combines the quality of different types of drying devices and do more and better than each of them. Rotary Dryer with scatter is one that a crusher is added within a common rotor drum. The wet materials are rapidly crushed into small particles, then a "hard shell" forms on the surface. Rotary Dryer with scatter has been successfully used in drying the Cake-like materials. The aim for this thesis is broadening its range in use to the drying of paste-like materials with high humidity and high viscous. In researching the effect of the device's operating parameters and the construction parameters of its stiff apply to scatter during the drying process, then promoting them, the particles are effectively prevented to get together again. A device is designed to combine chain to shedder for it to auto-clean the materials adhered to the cylinder and shedder. Moreover, according to the comparison of different auto-cleaning effect under different construction parameters such as the length of chain and the angle of shedder, we also got some ideal construction parameters which place strong basis for future design.Fluid drying technique owns its unique advantage in the drying of powder and particle materials. Vibrated Fluidized Bed just takes advantage of fluidized elements to dry the materials. With a wider range than a common dryer, it can successfully dry the materials ranged widely without getting fire caused by bad fluidization. On the other hand, with a lower speed, the power consumption and head pressure can be reduced.In a word, the combination of rotary dryer with scatter and vibrated fluidized bed is considered to be worth popularized.
