Casing perforated is currently used for oil and gas extraction after oil and gas layer are drilled open. The aim is to penetrate the casing, cement and formation within a certain depth and establish a shaft between the well and purpose layer for trial or production of oil perforation, as an important part of petroleum exploration and development, is not only related to the production of oil and gas wells, but also to the effectiveness of follow-up measures to increase production.With the increasing difficulty of exploitation, perforation is also getting higher and higher requirements. At present, the conventional direction of the perforation hole is random and therefore can not meet the special circumstances. Perforation of the direction is a new type of perforating technology which can determine the direction under the well. It uses tubing string transmission method and add a directing short between initiator and depth short. To determine the position of perforation shell by measuring the position of directing short. Perforation of the direction can reduce the pressure both of formation fracture and ground work. It is also a effective assistant to some special circumstances.Though perforation of the direction have been successful in many aspects, it is not everything. It is difficult for high angle well. This paper introduces a new type of perform- ting completion technology-modularization wire line perforating technology. It can effectively solute this problem. It uses noncable to run the hanging device of the per- forator to the desired depth. then the full modular perforating guns required by the per- forating operations are run to the well one after another. and at last, the perforating char- ges are detonated. With the technology, the aim of running multiple guns individually and detonating at one time has been realized. Based on this technology, with a special guiding design, the wireline oriented perforating is completed. The advantages of the technology are that it makes fully use of the special features of the wireline conveyed method: less equipment, easy operation, and short job time, etc. and also fulfills some functions of tubing conveyed perforating, such as, underbalanced perforating in the whole well, preventing blowout, etc. In addition, in the perforation in high pressure oil and gas wells, the modular perforators can be dropped to well bottom. Thus the wells can produce directly without restriction to the high pressure oil and gas. If the downhole tools are to be pulled out, the operation can be completed with the wellhead lubricator for the tool in the well is not long.This technology effectively solved perforator support and release fishing,etc. Well testing through simulation and field experiments show that the success rate of booster, ignition and docking is 100%.There are broad prospects for application promotion.
