This paper describes the characteristics of the submerged-arc welding,development history,the research present situation of the domestic and foreign;analyses the advantages and disadvantages of analog system and digital control system,elaborates digital signal processor(DSP) TMS320LF2407 control technology,pointes out that digital control is the direction of development of automatic submerged arc welding control system.The paper introduces SAW control system design concept,which uses the TMS320LF2407 chip as the core component;introduces digital signal processor TMS320LF2407 controller technology;introduces the digital design of power control system,delivery silk system,trolley system and keyboard display system.The paper in turn details SAW DSP Control System each parts of the digital design. Rectification Circuit of welding source uses Rectification Circuit of Double Inverse Star with neutrodon,power control system uses integrated trigger KJ004 to trigger circuit; deliver silk control circuit uses the H bridge circuit,which uses the IGBT power tube compose with the double-pole type reversible PWM technology;the driver circuit of the welding machine car realizes car commutation,braking,speed feedback function; keyboard and display functions may enactment welding parameters,real-time monitor data and display welding current,welding voltage,welding rate and so on through LCD.The paper gives DSP chip peripheral interface circuits,such as AD interface circuits, display interface circuit.In aspect of software design,introduces the PID control theory on the DSP soft ware control and DSP development tools CCS2;through theoretical research, the paper gives the wire feed control software program based on the assembly language and the C language and successfully passes the debugger to meet the design requirements.In this paper,the design of automatic submerged arc welding digital control system design is reasonable,and has greatly enhancement,compared to the previous automatic submerged arc welding control systems.Automatic arc welding is more convenient;in the process of welding,automatic adjustment of arc length is more stable and reliable, multi-information display parameters,such as welding speed,welding current,voltage and so on;it gives full expression to DSP processor speed advantage,improves digital control degree of the SAW,successfully achieved the demands of the design.
