Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) is a kind of carbon material with great combination property,substantial synthesis of CNTs which controlled by flame synthsis is also a new study area.V-type pyrolysis flame combustion system was used to synthesize CNTs which is synthesized through carbon source and heat source.Carbon source is from disproportionation reaction and hydrogenation reaction of carbon monoxide which is from the middle pipe of V-type pyrolysis flame combustor,heat source is from acetylene /air premixed flame of two side pipes.Catalyst is transported by spray- pyrolysis methord or coating method.The experiment show that ingredient of reacting gas,sampling time,transportion method of catalyst have great important influence to CNTs synthesis.Mechanism of CNTs synthesis base on our experiment was proposed.V-type pyrolysis flame not only successfully synthesize CNTs with better shape and quantity but also has mass production potential ability,the process is controllable,efficient and the equipment is cheap.
