| At present,the main approach to many countries to destroy the end-of-life propellant is detonated and burning.Due to the low cost,so the method widely used all over the world.However this way not only has the great safe hidden trouble,and the burning will bring high pollution waste gas and solid residue which is harmful to human health.In the environmental laws and regulations,the traditional method of end-of-life propellant will be annulled,and to seek some environmental methods which has been listed as world military forces of the frontier research.Based on the above background,this paper tries to use composting treatment to handle propellant,so as to seek a new resource utilization way.According to the information,few people study this subject,but has not yet seen publicly reported the research.This paper ues the method of static intermittent ventilation aerobic composting, preliminary explored the way of the feasibility by propellant ammonia solution passivation product,soil and surplus sludge by certain proportion among the three compost,namely:direct composting,vaccination bacterium agent composting and earthworms composting.For detailed materials in composting of carbon and nitrogen ratio,composition, ventilation to composting,to temperature,moisture content,water-soluble COD,TN the parameters such as the change of compost analysis results obtained the following conclusions:(1) Using different C/N ratio,composition and ventilation to compost in three ways,composting in all did not appear in the traditional way of composting described high temperature stage,each pile body temperature is the same as the temperature outside.Placing a month later,the smell of composting materials is becoming smaller but its volume,,color etc did not change.(2)I screened mixing flora from the surface of the propellant,after 30 days of culturing and open domesticating,which have certain of propellant waste degradation ability.The degradation ability of the mixing flora is higher than any one single or 5 strains of bacteria.So each of the mixed bacteria strains exist with the nature,can't live alone.Mixed flora had no obvious degradation function in propellant compost treatment.(3)Earthworm in sludge,propellant and soil mixture,even the levels of the propellant is less than 2%of the total mass,the earthworm is inactive and it most live 6 days.(4) Propellant has complicated composition,organic matter,high levels of nitrogen molecules containing,bigger toxicity,and has strong inhibited effect and even lethal effect to microorganisms.This paper makes a beneficial exploration to propellant composting.To study the basic phenomenon and the process of composting of basic parameters,the role of microorganisms in composting process and ventilation controlling etc.But using earthworms composting is a innovation idea,even if the composting are not successful. Investigate its reason,main is to underestimate the toxicity of propellant.Since the propellant's toxicity produce strong inhibition effect and even death effect,so on the earthworm which is the immobilization creatures.Therefore I suggest the follow-up study adopts advanced gene engineering technology(such as DNA grafting and cell fusion technology)to develop the bacteria which have strong tolerance with the propellant to create new conditions. |
