In this paper,the application,hazard and detective actuality of crystal violet were reviewed. The emergence,development,principle,characters,classification and developmental prospect of molecular imprinting technology,and preparation methods of molecularly imprinted polymers,were also reviewed in this article.In this study,the molecularly imprinted polymers were synthesized by bulk polymerization with crystal violet as the template molecule.The polymers were applied on solid phase extraction after the conditions of the preparation for molecularly imprinted polymers (MIP) were optimized.All the works are summarized as follows:1.A series of MIPs were synthesized using crystal violet as the template molecule.The influence factors such as solvent,cross-linker dosage and template dosage on its property have been discussed. The best experimental condition of preparing MIP is that using chloroform as solvent,the best mol proportion of crystal violet:acrylic acid(function monomer):EDGMA(cross-linker) is 1:4:40.2.The selectivity and binding characteristic of the polymers were studied by equilibrium binding experiments and Scatchard analysis.Scatchard analysis showed that the MIP binds templates with two classes of binding sites.The dissociation content(KD) and the apparent maximum binding capacity(Qmax) were KD1=56.2μmol/L,Qmax1=46.74μmol/g for high affinity sites,KD2=7.52μmol/L, Qmax2=24.49μmol/g for low affinity sites,respectively.The blank polymer(NIP) was also analyzed by Scatchard method.It revealed homogeneous binding sites with KD and Qmax values of KD3=6.33×10-2μmol/L and Qmax3=26.38μmol/g,respectively.Selective binding experiments results showed that the higher binding amount of crystal violet to MIP,compared with NIP.They also showed that the higher binding amount of crystal violet to MIP,compared with malachite green(a structural analogue of crystal violet).Above displayed that MIP had a good selective binding property.3.The application of MIP was evaluated by using MIP as the packing of solid-phase extraction (SPE) to make MISPE cartridge.The results revealed that MISPE cartridge can effectively enrich crystal violet in fish pond water and remove the co-extract in extracts of fish and shrimp.A good cleanup effect and high recovery were obtained.It overcame the drawbacks of conventional residue analysis such as cumbersome steps,too much work load and provided a simpler,more effective way to enrichment and cleanup of crystal violet.
