Electrospinning is an easy and efficient tool for producing nanotube-polymer composites. Composites fabricated by electrospinning can be used to assemble fibrous polymer sheets with fiber diameters ranging from nm toμm range. Producing nanotube-polymer filament constructed of nanofibers by electrospinning has important effect on enlarging the electrospun product style and the application areas.Polyamide6 was used as the matrix material for the nanofiber and multi-walled nanotubes (MWNTs). Solution of them was electrospun into nanofibers and then collected on the surface of active solution, stretched and rotated into continuous filament with even morphology, well-properties, and steady structure with a homemade electrospinning instrument. The time for continuous electrospinning was up to several hours. The main content of this paper are as follows: Effects of factors like voltage (V), tip-to-collector (TD), rotation speed (RS) and content of MWNTs on the structure and properties of fibers and filaments and effect of post-stretched technique on structure and properties of filaments.Effect of factors of electrospinning on the structure and properties of fibers and filaments: Effect of V, TD, RS, content of MWNTs on the alignment of fibers, crystalline degree of fiber, tensile properties of filaments was discussed. Some conclusions could be drawn: High V and TD helped to improve alignment of fibers and properties of filaments, but when they were too high, it was bad for spinning continuous yarns, and the alignment and tensile properties of filaments decreased at the same time. RS had obvious effect on alignment of fibers and improvement of tensile properties of filaments, but it was not good to stability of spinning when it was too big. The jion of MWNTs didn't have obvious effect on alignment of fibers and tensile properties of filmaments, but with MWNTs increasing, the crystalline degree of fiber improved as well as thermal stability.Optimized progress parameters: By the effect of parameters on fiber and filament, we can obtain the best parameters of electrospinning. That is as follows: V 14kV, TD 8cm, FR 0.08ml/h, RS 150rpm.Effect of post-stretched technique on structure and properties of filament: In order to improve the properties of the filaments, post-treated was performed under stretch time. The main research was about the effect of stretch time on structure and properties of filaments. The result was as follows: With the stretch time increasing, crystalline degree of fibers and tensile properties of filaments improved obviously.
