DMF(N,N-dimethylformamide) is a good industrial solvent and organic synthesis material ,and it has been widely used in Tannery, Chemical, Medicine and Agriculture. DMF wastewater can be serious harm to the environment because of its high toxicity and stability.DMF wastewater that come from a pesticide industry in Zi-Bo,Shan-Dong province can not be discharged standard by the treatment of traditional biology process. According to enterprises requirement, resource recovery and treatment on the wastewater has been made on this paper. Firstly, a vacuum distillation device has been designed for the recovery of DMF from the wastewater, and then the emission standard has been achieved by the treatment of advanced oxidation process on the rest wastewater. All the efforts not only reflect the idea of clean production, but also bring economic benefit to the industry. The effort of resource recovery and treatment on the pesticide wastewater is started from two parts on this paper.Firstly, the DMF content in the organic wastewater is up to 72%, then a vacuum distillation device has been designed for the recovery of DMF that contained in the wastewater ,and recovery DMF and relieve the pressure of treatment on the rest wastewater have been expected on this part. The result shows that the recovery rate of DMF in the wastewater is up to 82.47%,and the recovery purity of DMF can be reached to 98.63% by the vacuum distillation experimental device, process route and two continuous process of atmospheric distillation and vacuum distillation that are designed for the experiment, and it exceeds the enterprise prospective goals。Secondly, the toxicity and organic content are lowered in the rest pesticide wastewater, then the advanced oxidation process which included ozone, hydrogen peroxide, Fenton reagent and activated Carbon are used to deal with the rest wastewater. The experiment results show that the pesticide wastewater is greatly degraded with the combination of ozone, hydrogen peroxide, Fenton reagent and activated Carbon, and the degradation rate of CODcr, NH3-N, TOC and TN are respectively up to 91.82%, 99.7%, 94.14% and 98.5%, and finally the pesticide wastewater treated by advanced oxidation process can be met the discharging requirement of the enterprise.
