The article introduced crystal structutes and properties of ZnO,The uniformity deposition method was applied to grow the sheet zinc oxide single crystals(SZOSC) at room temperature and open system.The aim of this method is to grow ZnO which is uniform particle size and decentralizing good.Through changing different experimental conditions,the relationship of stirring speed and diameter,growing time and thickness of SZOSC were measured.The diameter reduces with the increasing of the stirring speed.But the thickness raises along with the growing time.In the process of growing SZOSC,the start dehydration temperaturre is gotted,it is 125℃.Put the precursor of SZOSC in the muffle,when the temperature reachs the top of the range,keeps the temperature for 1h,the SZOSC will not dehydrate even time expanded.The waste liquor can only be recycled for 4 times.The output reduces as the increasing of the recycling time.There will be no precursor at the fourth time.The content of ZnO in the SZOSC was measured,it is 66.80%.At last,This paper studied the crystallography and photoelectric properties of SZOSC by SEM,TG,XRD,IR,UV—Vis.The result shows that the precursor of SZOSC is a sheet which is hexagonal and transparent,the main components is Zn(OH)2,it also contains some CO32- and SO42-,because there is some bubble when dropping HCl,and there is some white deposit when dropping BaSO4 solution.Heat treatment does not effect the size,shape and thickness of SZOSC. the pure SZOSC can be got by heat treatment at 1000℃.SZOSC has a strong absorbency to near ultraviolet,but the absorbency to mid-IR and visible light is weak,it also exists blue and green stimulated emission at room temperature.Lattice constant of SZOSC can be calculated on the basis of XRD data,it's a=0.3246nm,c=0.5207nm.According to UV—Vis spectrum mapping, the energy gap of SZOSC can be gotted,it is 3.25 eV.At room temperature,SZOSC exists ultraviolet,blue and green light stimulated emission.This study validates the excellent properties and broadens the applied foreground of SZOSC, it also promotes the industrial course of SZOSC.
